The South County Historical Society is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of important landmarks in the southern portion of wildly historic San Luis Obispo County, California and represent the towns of Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, Grover Beach, Oceano, Nipomo, Halcyon, Edna Valley, Los Berros, Oso Flaco and Huasna.
The Society is a nonprofit organization that depends solely on donations and volunteers to
continue its work.
Museum Hours:
The Schoolhouse, Heritage House and Barn Museum will be
open on: Saturday, March 8th, Saturday and March 22nd, Sunday, March 23rd from 1:00pm to 3:00pm The
Museums will be closed on Sunday, March 9th
Have you ever wondered about the Irish impact on the
history of Arroyo Grande? Here is your chance to find out! Sunday, March 16th at 3pm in the Village of
