South County Historical Society
4th Annual Christmas Walk
The South County Historical Society
held its 4th Annual Christmas Walk on December 7th, 2003. Several Society Member's
Homes, Businesses and the Society's Museums were open for a one day holiday event.
Despite the morning rain, approximately 300 people participated in the Christmas
Walk. Starting at the Heritage House, participants were given a holiday pin
identifying them as "paid" ticket holders.
From there, the next stop was the Barn, where the delightful fragrance of warm Holiday
Cookies, Cider and Coffee filled the air. Then it was on to the homes and businesses
that were decorated for the season. Even some pets were decorated for the occasion!
Following is a slide show with photographs from the 2003 event.
